Tropical Storm Nana creeps closer to Belize || ItsTomorrow news

Tropical Storm Nana could have become a hurricane Wednesday night or Thursday morning before it makes landfall in Central America, the National Hurricane Center said. Nana, which formed on Tuesday morning, has maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, the NHC said. The storm is 50 miles from Isla Roatan, Honduras, moving west at 15 mph. If its maximum sustained winds strengthen to 74 mph it will become the fifth hurricane of the 2020 season. Though satellite images have shown wind shear slightly degrading Nana, the storm is still expected to develop into a hurricane before making landfall.
