Wednesday morning tropical update: Active Atlantic as hurricane 2020 sea...
Things are heating up in the tropics which is normal as we approach the peak of the season on September 10th. Today is also the 55th anniversary of Hurricane Betsy hitting New Orleans.
Tropical Storm Paulette is battling wind shear today and it is a little weaker with winds around 60 mph. The center of circulation is now exposed. Forecast calls for it to get weaker the next 2-3 days due to wind shear and dry air. By days 4-5 it will be in a more humid environment and should start to get stronger again. The forecast track keeps it out at sea.
