Saturday Morning Update: Tropical development likely in eastern Atlantic



Tropical Depression Omar has not dissipated, but continues to remain weak out in the Atlantic. It will continue to dissipate this weekend.

There is a tropical wave located near the Cabo Verde Islands and it is producing disorganized showers and storms. A tropical depression or storm will likely develop over the next few days as it drifts west.

Forecast models and the steering pattern show this would likely stay out to sea. Next name is Paulette.
