There are quite a few things going on in this satellite view from September 12-15 2020:
To the left: Smoke from US West Coast Fires which is widely distributed across the US and the Pacific.
Center: Hurricane Sally forming after crossing Florida. It is expected to hit the coast of Louisiana including New Orleans.
Center right: Hurricane Paulette (category-2 as of September 15) which hit Bermuda and will weaken in the cooler waters north of the islands.
Right: Former tropical Storm Rene which hit the Cabo Verde Islands and dissipated into a remnant.
Right: Some Sand and dust clouds from the Saharan desert are visible over the Eastern Atlantic Ocean which became entangled in the depression systems there.
Lower Right: Tropical Storm Teddy which is expected to gain strength and become a Hurricane in the next few days.
Video compiled of a series of images of the NOAA GOES-16/GOES-East satellite from September 12th to 15th 2020. Downloaded from CIRA.
