Belize City residents get ready for Tropical Storm Nana
All across Belize today, residents were rushing to gather last minute supplies and groceries before bunkering down in their homes or in shelters as the country awaits Tropical Storm Nana. During our newsroom’s trip to downtown Belize City, we noticed that most stores were closed and the streets were mostly empty of people. However, we observed long lines of people outside grocery stores. One resident, William Bradley, spoke to us about how he has been preparing for the storm.
