Invest 98L & 97L On the Verge of Becoming Next Named Storms , Aug 18, 2020

Tropical Weather Bulletin....Invest 98L & 97L are on the verge of becoming tropical depressions and storms. Invest 98L in particular, as a very large area of organized thunderstorms are trying to wrap their way around the center of circulation. All areas in the Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, and the US East coast should be watching the progress on this storm. Strong high to the north near Bermuda should keep the system on a west-northwest motion. In addition, Invest 97L could develop in the central and western Caribbean in the next couple of days, and could eventually begin to turn more northward in time toward the Gulf of Mexico. Areas of my part of North America could be seeing a stretch of late summer dry weather. Areas of the Southeast US will be getting tropical moisture this week with up to 3 to 4 inches of widespread rain. All the details in this jam packed quick-cast edition of Hurricane Northeastern!
